Put on the supplied gloves before handling the watch or film pieces. Work in a clean, well-lit area and identify each precision-cut piece while it remains on the backing sheet.
Use the supplied alcohol cleaning wipes to remove dirt, oil and other surface residue from the watch.
Use the supplied lint-free cloth to remove any remaining alcohol and visible particles.
Spray the application solution onto the release liner. Dip the cotton swab into the solution, then apply it to the watch surface as needed.
Moisten the tip of the tweezers with the application solution and slowly peel the film from its release liner.
Align the film with the corresponding area of the watch. Confirm that it does not cross a moving gap or interfere with the crown, bezel, clasp or bracelet articulation.
Gently move the cotton swab in one direction to remove the remaining solution from beneath the film.
Use the positioning stick to gently secure the film edges.
Leave the film to dry on the watch for at least 24 hours before wearing, or follow the longer drying time specified in the product instructions.
After the drying period, inspect the alignment and edges, and confirm that the crown, bezel, clasp and bracelet move normally.
A small amount of temporary moisture or haze may remain immediately after wet application. Allow the full drying period before judging the final clarity; do not puncture the film or apply excessive pressure.
If an edge continues to lift, a piece moves, or debris remains trapped after drying, do not trim the film while it is on the watch. Contact FineWatchCare support for model-specific guidance and use a replacement piece if advised.
For routine care, clean the installed film gently with a soft lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, strong solvents, sharp tools and picking at the film edges.
